    photographs and word-pictures, poetry

in the end they both depend upon the imagination. unless there's a mystery to a photo we won't look at it more than once (or see it in our dreams). and pictures created by language must have the same effect.

    perhaps this blog will apply.

we have to have a point of view.

thanks, osman. i've spent hours looking at photos online the past two evenings: my own and other people's. the canon thread, the 4/3d's, the leica, lots of the photo galleries, lenses, and cameras on pbase. no real conclusions, except one: post-processing can do interesting things with the results of any camera. alas, i started with the canon colors and i still like them, especially at the high end. yet my taste keeps changing. no question, the small-sensor cameras brilliant with black and white.

    Sorry Wayne.
I haven't been in these parts for a spell.
I got stuck inside a mobile with the Memphis blues again....

Anyway, you seem to have a good grasp on pp stuff.
I like the way you see and no matter what, it's never filtered out.

Gotta get outta here cause the DP1 is getting itchy in the box....and Penny don't like any one else in my hands but her...
