Maybe you only speak with pictures ;-)
They look very good. Since I could by the camera this week I would be interested to see some 50% and 100% crops, if possible. Thanks in advance!

Looks damned good to me... I've already said that Sony is the one to watch - if this sensor was scaled up to produce an EVIL cam - watch out

Thanks for sharing - I'd like to see some full size images if anyone has a pointer.

Cheers

Re: Touch Screen

What is it like only having a touch screen for settings?
Good question. As for mobile phones (and not wanting to spend too much on a whim) I skipped the iPhone and went for a much cheaper Nokia version with touch screen just to see if I got on with it.
The result is: I wouldn't go back to one with buttons:).
So I'm really keen to know the answer for this camera too but I'd still be favourably biased towards it even without this answer from "Hot".
Apart from extra screen real-estate I think once you get used to it it's quicker to operate, at least that's my impression with just a phone.

Hot, Nice photo report! :)

While I am quite impressed with these, I am disappointed that it is a jpg camera.

Is there any camera with the EXMOR-R sensor that can deliver RAW or least Tiff?

[If there is, I will buy one and convert it for UV and IR. :)]

Thanks, Terry. :)

That looks good.

[Won't be useful for UV but should do fine for IR, I think]

So we can say without any doubt that the TX7 picture quality is much better than that of the Panasonix fx 01!?!?!?
