    John, does the Leica have a snap mode like the Ricoh? Or any other easy way to preset the focus on it?

    No Snap mode but you can lock focus. It's not fast street machine.

    Thanks for posting. Makes clear the reason why the X1 couldn't get any smaller than it is: they needed room for that sticker with all those certifications.
