thanks, derek. all i can say is get yourself a droid x and play with all the camera applications you can find. the pictures don't come out automatically, however. you'll have to experiment and find things you like. part of it does come from exposure to non-western art from all over the world. they've a sense of the mystical - and all kinds of altars exist.

these will give you some idea of what's available. i will tell you the 4.3 inch on the droid x a beauty. really spoils you. and you can do everything you can do on your computer (except no layer apps i've found).
