    Interesting "point and shoot" article

One of the most interesting aspects is what some are considering as point and shoot which goes up to APS-C

I agree... it's so strange to me that a the X100 is considered by many to be a P&S. Sure, it can be used that way, but the fact that it has dedicated a shutter speed dial, an aperture ring, a hybrid VF, and a large sensor should place it out of the P&S category.

Thanks for the link, Terry...interesting to see what others are shooting with or pining for...I've been looking to replace my old canon A630 but will wait on 2012 and what new things come down the 'pike...i almost bought a G12, I really use the swivel lcd a lot, but will wait a bit...the G3 from panasonic was also a maybe, but I'm enthralled by the image quality of the fuji x100 and the sony nex cams...in other words, i'm baffled and will wait and see, a small cam will come and take me from this confusion...

    kind regards
