    D-Lux4 test images

    I posted these in another thread, but here they are for those interested.

    Here are some tests I did today at Glazers Camera in Seattle with the new D-Lux4. These are resized to 900 pixels wide. JPEG from camera, no adjustments.

    ISO 100, 200, 400, 800 center crops at 100%

    My conclusion from this quick test is that the D-Lux4 is usable up to and including ISO 400. Not bad. It's $850, however.

    Now...the real test is to compare it to the Panny LX3......

    that would be interesting to see......

    theoretically, the LX3 and d-lux4 should be very similar for RAW, but for JPG the difference should be obvious, with Leica colour profiling to match big brother M8
