I didn't see a post here (maybe I missed it), but there now is a $150 rebate on the D-Lux4 (sure...now they do it). Not sure when it officially "started" but it runs through 1Jan09. Still more expensive than the LX3, but it also has a 3 year warranty now as well.
I'm going to send in the rebate form and see if they'll send me a check even though I bought at the end of October. Can't hurt...
For the record I am extremely happy with my DLux4 and don't regret the purchase at all. It clearly outperforms my DLux3, and is amazing in low light.
