    The Rock on a gray day with the GRD2

    We spent a few hours taking in the city on Saturday, and here is a grab from the end of Pier 39 -- GRD2 in auto ISO mode:

    Excellent composition, Jack. I especially like the muted colors.

    Thanks David,

    The muted colors are how they came through on sensor -- it was just that kind of day in the city . A for the composition, I just tried to make use of the sweeping dark cloud that was kind of pointing to the prison, then placed the prison near a golden mean while keeping a hint of the Golden Gate Bridge on the left.
