Now I'm more interested than ever in the rumored LX8: compact body, Sony sensor, 4K, GH4 chip, EVF, swiveling LCD, f2-2.8 Leica lens. And,hopefully, Panasonic's new AF.
Life is an infinite series of moments called..."now".
My job is to capture them.

Would also be interested in the LX8 - even more so the Leica incarnation of this marvel.

As this is conceptually similar to the Sony RX10, I will be interested to see how much interest there is from this forum. Not much for the RX10, no further mention of it since my post on 6th February this year.

And, yes I am still enjoying the RX10!

As my feeling told me when I first saw this camera - it seems to be really great and ticks most of my "wish list" boxes I have ....

Interesting to see what the answer from Sony (RX20) will look like.

The RX100 series has been upgraded about once a year.

The RX10 was announced in October last year so maybe not long to wait. If it follows the pattern it will be RX10 ll, not RX20.
