Ah, indeed I hadn't considered your earlier question in the context of this shot, Don

    Re: Self Reflection

I'd actually like to have a print of it for my collection.
Maybe we could make a deal?

    Let me know....

Conversion done with Silkypix, far smoother than PE

    As shot

Given the discussions we've had on B&W and color, it is of interest to to see the effects of converting or not, and even how differing workflows can change the results.

I find both color and B&W appealing, in the latter case the SP conversion is much smoother and more to my taste than the Photoshop Elements one. I truly like SIlkypix despite or even because of its quirky interface

Even though I tend to be a Blk & White Girl
in this instance I prefer the Color Version
it still has an ethereal quality with the blue...the blue is so Subtle
    very nice indeed

    Re: Self Reflection

I like this image, great self portrait. often we don't have enough images of us as photographers.

I think the lamp helps make this image. It would less without it IMHO.

Yes the background/surroundings affect how we see things, I note the images here look quite different here than on flickr's white background!

    Hi Lili,

Very nicely done. For me the orginal in B&W is the best of the bunch. A very nice photograph!

Excellent images, Lili. They have a serene quality. I also prefer the b&w.
