thanks. light direction with ir makes a big difference (and the shadows). the first three about four miles upstream where people put in. the latter two from where they came out. here are several more from the launch.

These are excellent. There is a humour, almost absurdity/surrealist feel. The third image, again using otherwise quite classical composition is my personal favourite but it a close call with the penultimate photograph. Combining the IR effects with leisure time we can all relate to portrays the alien with the familiar. Along with HDR I had not really got IR but these really are very good indeed.
