    I can't find my bloody GR-DII manual a question

I'll try to leach a quick answer. How do I turn off JPEG and only record Raw?

    From the manual:

When shooting with [Pic Quality/Size] set to RAW mode (GP.91),
a JPEG file associated with the RAW format file (.DNG file) is
recorded at the same time. You can change the picture quality and
image size of this JPEG file.

    ----

You will end having a JPG file, it seems.

You can't lose them. Also if you're using aperture, make sure you erase them, or move them to a different directory, because they WILL get imported and waste disk space.

This was asked over on the Ricoh forum here http://ricohforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=2225

A suggestion is to set to the smallest jpg with RAW to minimize space taken.

You can download the manual here: http://www.ricoh.com/r_dc/support/manual/grd2.html

The Ricoh cameras use the JPG for review in-camera so you can't deactivate them and if you shoot a low resolution JPG it will be more difficult to check focus so this might be worth keeping in mind.
