I am getting to really like using my iPhone 4S for photography. The limitations force you to think very carefully about what you are shooting. Here are few recent shots, mostly processed on the phone and in Camera+

Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel

Gherkin (recent demolition of buildings nearby has opened up the view)

My iPhone is only a week old but I'm liking the little camera part. These are my first few attempts taken during a rainy ferry ride to an island off the coast of Maine.

Hi Gary

not quite, actually this was an R100GS before I got mad and reworked it (well most was done at Scherb, Lottmann and several other specialists here in Munich and around) I wanted to make a police version as I saw them when I was a little boy escorting the Adenauer limousines. Am still working on it.
The motor is 1040ccm about 75hp, Öhlins, Brembo 4 stop disks, a lot of little things inside as 800ccm short back wheel gears - a long 5th gear instead , camshafts, polishing ,balancing........ the full package. Right now I have put on the one man seat, from Police machines -see here

Facebook

Rides nice. I will grow old with this motocycle !

regards
Stefan

Beautiful bike and excellent photo Stefan. Is that an R100 Mystic?

I'm brand new to iPhone photography, but I'm really enjoying it. It's even prompted me to work in color -- something I've not done in years.

A few more iPhone pics.

Couldn't agree more Godfrey. With the 4S, I never feel like I would miss out whatever the situation, both the stills and the video are pretty decent. Mind you, it's not the quality you get from the latest generation of mirrorless cameras, but it isn't as bad as most folks would think without trying it. It sure surprised me getting home and seeing just how good the clips were that first time out.

Louis, thank you very much for viewing both. I'm finding the freedom to tell a story also with video very liberating. Stories such as this one can be told from multiple viewpoints having video available, and with less "overview" and with more "meat" on the bones. Both still and video do tell powerful stories that I believe complement each other well.

I'm working on a couple new projects presently, so will see over time if my present feelings on this hold up or not. The biggest pain at the moment is having to switch bodies - though I am evaluating an "all in one" possible solution. But more on that later...

Woody, that first picture shows off what an amazing camera the iPhone can be.

Believe it or else the only time I ever went to Fenway park was the night the Citgo sign was turned back on. That dates me.
