    DP1 Visits New Orleans

Here's a 15-second exposure of Canal Street in New Orleans. I snapped it last week while attending the SIGGRAPH conference.

Here's a similar shot from the hotel window, except in black and white.

Really nice shots. There is something unusual about these that makes them very appealing, a sort of vintage look reminiscent of the 1930's.

    Thanks, guys.

When I checked into the hotel, they asked me if I minded being on the 37th floor. Why would I mind? It's a great vantage point for wide-angle photos.
