i apologize for pulling these pictures last night, just before going to bed, i had an attack of self-consciousness.

long ago i realized people quit (or fail at) being artists because
1. they don't want to spend that much time alone
2. they don't want to reveal themselves

these are occupational hazards and both necessary. yet sometimes it just seems like too much.

here are the pictures. i do think of myself as a performance artist and i hope they will be taken in that vein, as having some meaning beyond myself.

These remind me of Chuck Close's work with the large Polaroid.
Yours are more inward and that's a good thing.
You push your inner envelope and it's always interesting to see what you come up with.
