Quick snapshot/Experiments to handhold Minolta 200 f2.8 on NEX.
It is tricky to do manual focusing and shoot without stabilization. Focusing is tricky but NEX-5 UI for manual focusing is excellent, as is the LCD in bright light. Live histogram makes life easier. Everything is shot in auto-ISO, Aperture priority. Overall it is an interesting option. Tommorow I will try and test 70-400 and 500 mirror.

Resitance is futile...

Probably . . . . but I want Aperture support for the RAW files FIRST this time!
So the ball is firmly in Apple's court. . . . . actually, I could live with Adobe DNG converter making DNG files that Aperture can read, but even that doesn't seem possible yet.

all the best

Come on Jono.....you know that you will!!!?

Did you ever get that lovely 16-35 F2.8 Zeiss for the A900 that you lusted after once? A superb piece of glass.
