Lightroom update supports NEX3 and NEX5
There is lens profile support for the kit zoom.
http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Lightroom_3.2

Read the instructions because on the Mac, it makes a new LR ap called LR 3.2 RC (release candidate). That is the file that you must open to have NEX raw support. Both LR and LR 3.2 RC use the same library.

Just did my first LR3.2 conversion! What is a little strange is in RAW it recognizes the profile of the kit lens. From a jpeg (HDR) it doesn't. Am I doing something wrong?

It seems to work for me. Select the lens manually and sync it to other images.

Uwe, I am having the same trouble as Terry. When I try to select a profile for the HDR (or high contrast) jpeg, the only available profile is for the Sony DT 18-200 lens. I figured that when the camera made the jpeg, it corrected for distortion in that engine. I didn't think any more about it till Terry asked. Like Terry, I am having no trouble attaching the profile to the raw file.
Would you explain this further, please?

This happens with my A900. It's fine with RAW, but if I import a TIFF from RPP to LR3, LR3 only lets me select the Sony 18-200 lens (and I'm definitely leaving the EXIF for the 50mm lens intact.) Oddly, it'll let me select the Nikon or Canon 50mm lens.

My Internet access is going sonny again. Is there a way to send Adobe a bug report? It doesn't make sense that there is a RAW profile and not qet a choice on jpegs. Am I missing something in my lens profile understanding as to why the profiles would be different (asse Sony doesn't build corrections into one and not the other.
