External flashlight and NEX

It's very easy to use an external flash with NEX5. Set small NEX-flashlight to lowest power or use a darkred filter (to avoid light by this flash).

The NEX flashlight is used as a trigger for YONGNUOs in slave mode.

I am using YONGNUO YN460-II ($ 46 incl. shipping) and a YN467.

Is it true that the cameras 'pre-flash' cannot be turned off? In which case, how does that affect this method of synch, and have you used it to make any other images?

Sorry, I do not test cameras/flashes ... NEX5 & Yongnuos work well - that's it
And for prices €30 / €60 (incl. shipping from China)

Seldom I'm using flashes - flashlight is unnatural light ... only using if necessary.

PS: you can read a lot of nonsens from people, which cannot work with cameras ;-)
