I bought this lens cause you inspired me...well, it was dirt cheap also...
anyway, are you cropping these images? My lens is not as sharp on the corners. I know it's not supposed to be but your images look good all the way around....

Don, that is one of the best compliments one can hope for. Many thanks for these kind words.
These images look good all the way around because the outer circumference is dark. If you see my horses photos you will see that the corners are always out of focus.
As much as I love this lens I started so much to love shooting with this FOV that I'm really thinking about selling some of my other lenses to get a rokton 35mm 1.4...which is like literally like 20 times more expensive.
