Why would he use an "E" lens on an Alpha body, or should i say how?Quentin
There must be some places in the UK where it is available. David Kirkpatrick (Scotland) is using one and gives it a glowing report. He reckons that it will be one of the few lenses that the 36 Mpx A99 when it is available will be able to show to the lens real capability.

It is easy to get confused when dealing with two different mounts. Why would he use an "E" lens on an Alpha body, or should i say how?

It is no longer available. Within 24hrs they are gone. The Zeiss E-Sonnar 24/1.8 is available at the Sony stores (Netherlands).
Sony announced last night limited US deliveries for December!NEX-7 is January. Depending on region will depend on when within that month (and maybe early Feb) you will get your camera. Stocks will be very limited so if you want one sooner rather than later I recommend pre-ordering.
Sounds like you might be in line for an early one Terry . . . .can't complain I guess, having got an A77 in September.Sony announced last night limited US deliveries for December!
No, I don't think I was that early on the list. I was trying to resist at first. We all know how stupid and futile that was. :loco:Sounds like you might be in line for an early one Terry . . . .can't complain I guess, having got an A77 in September.
