Erik - SIN and the bird are both really excellent - fabulous - you're posting so much good stuff.

Matt I like the second and penultimate shots - the third looks a little underexposed to my eyes.

Apologies for cross posting - this was with the 50 f1.8 this morning (what a nice lens!)

That looks like a very good lens, Jono. Do you have some more in colour as well?

We went to the coast today and dodged the showers. I was trying to do some more considered black and white with my M9, but I had the NEX7 with the 18-200 zoom over the other shoulder.

That little Konica 40mm is an outstanding lens for landscapes.

    Hi Vivek
It's only in Holland (and China) that there are people everywhere.
Nice shots Michiel, although I think that whoever decided the colour scheme on that half timbered house needs a slap!

Mohammed - you don't see many Rollers in the UK these days, the only one I've seen in real live was in China.

In France there is often not a living soul around especially on sundays and evenings. I often wonder where they all are. That's why, I think, they put out the street lights at 21.30 just when it is getting dark
You need a torch when you visit someone on foot at night in the village.

I reckon those colours are more 80/90s than hippy - so you'll probably have to put it down to ketamine rather than LSD!

Most out of date hippys probably needed tranquilizers to cool down their tripping colors, but that doesn't have to mean you have to repaint your whole house.

Today it rained all day . . . then we had a thunderstorm . . . . and then the sun came out.

I've never thought of it . . . did anyone say it couldn't?
The wonder of Sony is that (unlike everything else except Olympus) I never give the colour a second thought - it's just good!

    all the best

It can do yellow as well!

It's very stormy here still - windy and prone to large dumps of rain (apparently we're in the middle of the worst drought since 1976).

Here are 3 shots from this morning's walk - all with the 18-55 kit lens. It's better than it has any right to be (especially the bokeh), but I'd like something a little better and a little wider (equivalent to the 12-60 4/3 Zuiko perhaps).
