    Re: NEX 5-R

I am not crazy about either one of the presenters but there is some interesting info here:

FIRST LOOK: NEW SONY NEX-5R DIGITAL CAMERA - YouTube

Kudos to Sony for the LCD (tilt) improvement over that of the F3!

    Re: NEX 5-R

One thing I am curious to know is if the custom WB setting would go below 2500K (as in the current NEX models). 2000K range is what I would like to see.
At least on the upcoming NEX-6, I would like to have. Either built in or through future "apps" (it is a clever way to handle/augment an existing firmware!).

The Fuji X-Pro-1 has it and the rumored XE also would likely have it (WB range) as do Panasonic's m4/3rds cams..

That is pretty interesting that you will be able to see Live View on a smartphone if you choose!

    Hello,

A German magazine reports the the new 5R has also digital leveling now like NEX7. That is the feature i missed so far. For wide-angle photos wo viewfinder and also video.

    Best, Walter

also the 5r has an extra dial where the power switch used to be. This is much welcomed addition as it allows for direct aperture and shutter controls. and it makes it just one dial less than the nex 7.
