Hotshoe adapter doubt

Guys,

I´ve just realized that the NEX7 has a proprietary hotshoe which won´t let me mount my Rode Videomic Pro. Would this adapter fix it Amazon.com: Pixel Flash Hot shoe Adapter for Sony Alpha A900 A850 A750 A700 A550 A500 A380 A350 A330 A300 as FS-1100: Camera & Photo ?
I just want to be able to mount the mic on the camera, nothing else (it connects to the camera via mic input anyway, so all I´m looking for ir mounting compatibility).

If the rhode videomic pro uses its own connector cable which you know works on the nex 7 mic in port, then, yes this pixel flash hot show adapter will work well to adapt and mount this mic. It also allows for alot more and you will also be able to adapt a good number of third party speedlites onto the nex 7
