Out for a drive thru Zion NP and surrounds.
Happened to come across a herd of Rocky Mountain Bighorn sheep.
And visited a bison ranch nearby.

Re: Fun With Sony _____

A few days before New Year we spent a few days at the Belgian Coast in Knokke. One afternoon we had some special light and clouds. Here's an impression of what we saw:

1: Looking towards the Zeebrugge harbour

2: Impressive cloud, but fortunately no rain where we were

3: A little later, and a bit more quiet in the air

4: Looking the other way, towards "Het Zwin" and Cadzand

5: A bit further I bet it was raining

6: Clearing out

Yesterday was a bit hectic (imagine that), but I still managed to grab a few snaps at the beginning and end of the day. All shots were rushed and without a tripod, but I did find a guardrail to stabilize the last few.

As you can see, there was a weak northern light display, which is rather rare this far south.

Happy New Year!

Doug, I'm really liking your maritime macro/closeup series. Keep them coming!

Just got back from 2 weeks camping at the beach. Have a lot of images to go through, I'm sure I'll be posting a lot here over the next month. Here is a quick one.
