Another rare beast. One of the rare "super APO" lenses.

Cars are liked but no one likes lenses?

Here is a flower (UV capture using my UV cam) using a rare APO El Nikkor 105/5.6 lens.

I wouldn’t usually call pictures of lenses fun, exactly (“Fun with …” being the start of the thread title). Informational, certainly.

And given that one at least is for sale …

Yesterday's user is for sale today. Here is a car picture for you.

(FYI: The D300 is not for sale. I am sending it off to a friend. )

Taken with the Apo El-Nikkor 105/5.6 on my UV cam (@f/5.6).

I was playing around with the smooth reflection app on this one...kind of fun.

Beautiful Joe.
That macro is such a winner I'm tempted to get one.
Thanks very much. It's a hyper-sharp lens. This shot was hand-held and I picked the best of several attempts. I was too lazy to use a tripod. In your neck of the woods, my preferences are wide, super-wide and hyper-wide. :) You've captured that landscape very well in your images.

And I thank you in return.
I'd grab that Loxia 21 but I prefer the AF of the Batis.
The 18 is a bit too wide for my general needs.
I simply can't afford all the great lenses for the A7RII so I have to be selective.
There are so many and the list is growing every day. :)

The first to notice!

:salute:
Tom, I noticed but too polite to say so ;)
