Nope, it's an enlarging lens. Rodenstock's top of the line for 36x24 negatives.

And here are a couple of bokeh comparison shots with a completely different Rodenstock 50, this one the Retina Heligon 50/1.9. First is wide open, second is down two stops (the adapter controls the aperture, and it doesn't appear to be entirely accurate).

Good thread. The A7 is a great digital back for messing about with old lenses. Some of the Soviet glass is very interesting! I just picked up a mint Jupiter 37A (135mm/3.5) for £30 delivered!
Anyhow, here are a couple of shots with other old Soviet glass.
This was mis focussed but heh, I don't care!
