A7S + Leica Summaron 28mm f/5.6 LTM

Of all the Leica wides that I've tried, this one works surprisingly well, and is also the perfect size, handles quite nicely.
Heavy vignetting as you'd expect (I guess even more than Leica) but I don't mind that, not much smearing, very nice contrast, good colors, minimal distortion.

You are right, it is a f/3.5 :facesmack:

I found in in my fundus, Xenar lenses are so often made that I thought it is nearly worthless but in this days I decide to convert all f/3.5 I have in stock, I´am realy surprised how much it are.

I think this lens is out of an old Kodak Retina, made in the late 1930th.

The last one for today, a very rare lens, an Ertel Munich Ertoplan 3.8/50mm. Made in the 1920th for a 35mm cine camera. I want to present all my converted lenses in the next book about standard lenses. First step is to machine everything to make´em usable with the digital cams already, than I can start to take pictures with it. I can´t await to see the first results.
