What is the Rollei Tessar 23/2.8 lens from or about?

Hi Paul, It was taken from an old Rollei 110 camera in the pre body cap days of the NEX (Sony initially did not make a body cap with the NEX-5 and 3 but sold only kits).

I have shown it before:

The lens mounted is more compact than the body cap.

The E 20/2.8 is a bit too sharp for the NEX-5N. I am undecided about it on monochrome.

Jetty at Te Anau, South Island, New Zealand. A850 w/16-35 ZA. I switched to the A850 from the R8/DMR and for 4 years I used several of my leitaxed R lenses with it. Along the way, I picked up the 16-35 ZA and the 70-400G.
