The Definitive Sony B&W Images Thread

There are some gorgeous images on this thread. I'm curious if anyone else shoots raw+jpeg with creative mode set to black and white. I've been doing this for a couple months if the situation warrants and an pleased with the OOC results and to see the image in bw and colour. It's easy to delete the bw if I want the color or use the raw to process B+W further.

Question: if using jpeg for bw, what sort of adjustments to contrast and sharpness do you make?

Hi there PCinAZ,

I'm not shooting RAW+JPEG, but do set creative mode to b/w (-3/0/+3) to enhance red peaking.

Kind regards.
