Tucking Mill Viaduct, Midford, nr Bath.

In days of yore steam trains on the old Somerset and Dorset line would run over this viaduct.

Now it's me on my bike.

One more from Namibia. Was shooting the colorful dunes of Sossusvlei and the wind was blowing very hard, was difficult to keep the rig steady on my tripod. Just out of curiosity I turned around to look at the scene behind me and saw this dune in the distance with dust rising from the ground in front, a few stunted and dead trees in the foreground. It was over a mile away and yet the view was breathtaking. The sun was into the camera and the light was very harsh on the dune. B&W brings out the stark beauty of this better than color could. Taken with the A9 with the Canon 100-400 via the Metabones adapter. Focusing was very tricky due to the wind and poor AF with this combo, but got it in the end.
