Maybe for some but I personally never feel that I "want" for much more than what I can receive from Sony FE cameras without moving up in sensor size. That's not to say there isn't room for improvement but I don't feel the competition is better for what I do. Perhaps if Leica got their quality issues under control I wouldn't mind another M camera at some point for personal usage but for automated cameras I feel there isn't anything out there that beats the A9 nor the A7RII if you need resolution (without moving to MF).

Thanks Bart. I agree.

Of course, I should have used a tripod, much lower ISO, and much longer exposure time. But I didn't focus on that as I had come to Bandelier to take pictures of the Turkey Vultures and just took a grab shot of the trees.

So when I looked at the forest picture on my computer at home I was surprised to see ISO 25,600. :facesmack:

Hi K-H, Have you tried the Techpro adapter with the Tele-converters?

K-H, this sort of combo:

Camera + Teleconverter + Techpro adapter + Elmarit 90 or Summicron 90 (or a lens that will not hit the teleconverter).

Well the FE 1.4x TC seems to fit between A7r2 and TAP but didn't AF.
So could someone else please try to verify this . TIA.
