Waiting Room
Hey K-H, i like this shot a lot with its decisive moment (bubblegum lady).
Quite funny how some details are the same the world all over (I guess).
There is f.i. this children's toy that seems to come as standard furniture for waiting rooms: very recognizable !

Good shot ... :)

Very true. If you take out the people it could be somewhere in Europe. Although the 70s look of the furniture would be rather replaced with a 90s look. Everything was renovated in the 90s here.
What I miss are the magazines and newspapers. They are still very popular in Switzerland and every waiting room has a stand with a bunch of the latest issues.
I'm curious what this thing with the T-shaped hole on the top of the shelf is (on the very right).

@k-h: It's nice to see some non-wildlife shots from you.

Thanks Bart and Seb, much appreciated.
Next time I am there I will ask them about the thing with the T-shaped hole on the top of the shelf. :facesmack:

One of my very first images with the A7r on 2013.12.17.

Sony ILCE-7R, 7360 x 4912.
I don't have record of the lens used. :banghead:
Most likely a Leica APO-R tele lens.
Focus distance to subject about 10 miles.

Hi K-H, I've done a bit of research and found this:

This evening I had time to shoot the Sony A7R with the Leica Vario-Elmar-R 1:4.2/105-280 wide open and an Novoflex adapter on a tripod.
All the best.

Many thanks Bart.
Yup, it either was that lens 105-280/4.2 or the 280/4. :facesmack:
I must have published a version of that image before, but can't find it. :banghead:
I finally found it here.

I also found the quote here.

Thanks again.

That's a pillow you use for keeping your face pointing down after retina surgery. :facesmack:
Apparently some folks need to do this for up to a few weeks (certainly while sleeping). :banghead:

Thanks for clarifying, I can sleep better now (even without this pillow). :D

What a pretty smile !
I bet it's because of your appearance or what you said ...

All the best.
Well Bart. She saw my camera and asked what I was photographing?
I replied, I could take a picture of you and did just that!
Generally around here folks are very friendly.
