Actually I like my FE 35/2.8, my first Sony AF FE lens that came with my A7R.
My go to 35mm FF equivalent presently is the Fujifilm GFX 50S + GF45 f/2.8.

Well I do know that the Sony budget lenses are good value for their money.
I would be surprised if this 35/1.8 turned out to be a lemon.

It has one aspherical element and no other "special" glass. That surprises me and for that reason, I am hoping that the test results are good. Otherwise, it seems a tad high price-wise.
