I was doing some looking over the holidays and see there are two versions of the A mount Sony 24-70 F2.8.
What I wonder is what the differences are related to image quality.
I found at least one or each version available used but at a significant difference in price.
I'd be using it on an A7II and A7RII via an LAE3 adapter. According the B Smith they both have the same focusing performance on the A7XX via the LAE3 so that's not a consideration.
The of course, there is the question of how much better either might be compared to my 24-70 F4.0.
The extra F stop is more for DoF than exposure for me.
