    Availability of new Voigtlander lenses

Just got this note from CameraQuest, where I have preordered the new 12mm e-mount version.

Unhappily, it looks like the 12mm is coming somewhat later.

The Voigtlander 15/4.5 III Sony E lens priced at $799 is estimated to
ship in April. The 10mm/5.6 E lens is estimated to ship in May. The
factory has not yet made an estimate for the 12mm E delivery.

Voigtlander Sony E lenses generally offer EXIF info, Lens Menu
Correction, Manual Focus Assist, Manual Focus Distance indication,
Electronic Front Curtain Shutter capability, and 5 Axis Image
stabilization. A list of exact compatible cameras is not available yet,
however generally the newer cameras will offer the most compatible
features to Voigtlander Sony E mount lenses.

Hang in there Mike. I'm interested in the 10 & 12. We'll just have to be patient (as usual).

In CP+ the 12mm was announced for August release in Japan, while 15mm was announced for April and 10mm for May, so that's probably how it will be in the U.S. also.
