Mirex adapter and Sigma Art lenses

    Hi,

Has anyone used a Sigma Art 35mm or 50mm on a Sony A7r or A7rii, using an Eos to E-mount Mirex adapter? How much shift do you get?

    Thanks.

Might get a faster reply in the Sony forum but many would buy Sigma Art in A mount or EF mount and get the Sigma adapter.

This thread has some good information with regards to what you are after....

Just remember, with Canon lenses there is no way of controlling the aperture, so it would need to be "preset" with a Canon body or a Metabones adapter...

A Nikon mount Sigma Art lens would be better if that was important to you....

The aperture can be controlled on the Nikon mount Sigma Art 35mm with the Mirex and A7rii?

Do not see why not, pretty sure all you need is an additional Nikon G - Eos adapter....

Not exact but it should work...

Unless I am missing something? Actually, as I was writing this I realised that I wasn't sure about the Sigmas and came across this..

which suggests that it is possible.

    Maybe somebody else can clarify?
