Best FF cam for an IR conversion?

Looks like a new Sony A7 fits the bill (or if anyone is selling one for <€700, i may consider that).

Alternately, i can convert my little used A7R and pick up a new A7R II (best price appears to be around €2300 from HK sellers shipping from within the EU?).


I would prefer larger pixels that is offered by the A7, especially, for IR.

Thoughts? suggestions?

I do have a A7 (boxed with papers) that's I rarely use. I'm on vacation for a couple more days but shoot me a PM.

I have a Sony A7II 590nm converted by Kolari Vision which I bought around Christmas 2016. Selling it because I want to concentrate on shooting with my new Cambo Actus + Actar 24. Have a couple of Kolari filters 52mm that I am throwing in as well.
