grippy-grip grip

Although I like the α-body compactness, holding it with a heavy lens attached for a long time is for me a rather uncomfortable affair.
For a good grip the body height is just too low as your pinky goes nowhere.
I found the battery grip too bulky and you need a rather large bag.
Now this grip extension was on my radar for quite some time and seems to be perfect.
This weekend I bought one for my A7r2 and after just one day's use I can happily say I'm pretty pleased.
Of course there's a penalty: a battery change requires taking off the grip, but hey ...

Anyone else using this grip extension ?

Glad to hear that, Bart.

If I ever buy a Sigma lens to use, I will keep this in mind.

(The bottom part of a Chinese L plate works for me.)
