I’ve seen a couple of samples on Facebook but in general I find most macros to be too sharp for portraits. The exception is probably the 100GM STF though it’s not a true Macro (it has a 1:4 macro mode).

Autofocus of that would be not too far from the Sigma either.

Finally i went with the FE 85 for portrait for the quicker autofocus... i will try the 70 for macro later...

Are LensTips evaluations reliable ? Their sample images are made with only a 22mp Canon camera, no ? They are blurry enough that I can't tell whether they are hand-held.
