    Sony DSLR repairs

My A900 with 24-70 was accidentally dunked in a fresh water lake. After 3 weeks of drying with desiccant, the camera and lens are unresponsive. Precision Camera was suggested but their reviews have been rather poor lately. Can anyone recommend an alternate source for repairs? Thanks, Outafocus

Sorry to hear about your accident. Precision Camera is the official recommended partner of Sony. Are you a Sony Pro Services member? If not I recommend becoming one. The experiences from those I've talked to are night and day from some of the horrible experiences that I've heard. I also wonder ifit'll be more costly to repair an A900 than to just buy an A99 or A99II at this point. It's a pretty old camera and I'm not sure that any repair will come at a "reasonable cost" if you're talking replacement of a sensor or main circuit board. As for the lens, it may be a worthwhile cost.

No idea about how good this place is but a quick Google search gave me this link.

Thanks for the info on Royal. I'll give them a look.
