Vivek, that looks like a very capable lens. BTW What is OSS? To many abbreviations in my life :) Looks plenty sharp to me as far the web can show.
Your one of the first purchasers again, Speedy Gonzales!

Here is one more from yesterday. A streetlife painter.

From the Window series.

Hoi Michiel,

surely this must be Eichholtz Delicatessen in the Leidsestraat ?
Long time ago I used to buy there cereal boxes à 22 guilders that Eichholtz imported from the USA.
Taste was great, but the price was too steep in the end.

BTW I don't think the long(ish) lens works very well here (too compressed).
Still enjoying your window-dressing series :)

Kind regards.

Re: Fun with the NEX cameras....

A visit to the ATP finals here in Rotterdam.

I snapped a few shots with the Olympus pens F 100/3.5 on the NEX-7 (the other lenses I had were the 24/1.8 and the 50/1.8) of the winner.

This one a grab shot with the 24/1.8.

Hi Vivek
I always suspected that shooting Nikon made you spotty . . . . .
Like the first shot.

Hi Jono, It is a subliminal thing that isn't helped by the sharp Sony E 50/1.8 (much better than the 50/1.8 Nikon lenses that I know). ;)

BTW, If I learn to process the files like Carlos has done in the samples he posted above, it would be unbearably spotty.

Thanks for your kind words. :)

Re: Fun with the NEX cameras....

Though I had enough time/opportunity to make another snap with correct exposure and shutter speeds, I did not and was OK with this one snap.

Thank you Knorp!

Yes it is. I am always intrigued by these never changing storewindows.
When I pass by I always take a picture with whatever lens at hand.
Actually I think I never bought one single thing in their shop.
Lots of tourists walking in and out.

Here is one from Rotterdam harbour with my new lens. (All the way down from South-Korea with original ring and hood)
Ideal for my harbour work.
@ 300mm as sharp as my Canon FD 300/4 but smaller!

Re: Fun with the NEX cameras....

Here's a few happy accidents from yesterday, all with the CV35F1.2v2 wide open:

Took a snap of my son while he was playing cuz I wanted to capture him and the reflection in the window, didn't notice until I get home that the shadow made them a "triplet".

The sun was shining briliantly off the stone paved road, but the bright light was giving a lot of purple fringes, but there's no purple in BW, right?

Wide stairs with half of it covered with potted flowers...

Michiel,

like your harbor scene. Would like to have Amsterdam or SF close. But then I would miss the nature of Hollister :)

Re: Fun with the NEX cameras....

Thank you, Uwe. I like industrial sites but I am longing for nature!
Can't have it all. I will catch up on nature when I am in France.

@ Rich Nice ones! How do you like that Zeiss on the NEX?
