Re: Fun with the NEX cameras....

Ah, I did not know that. I was hoping to get in touch with Michiel without any luck.

Here is another with the 24/1.8 on the NEX-7. The woman in the occupy tent had a DSLR and snapped pictures of me.

Here is a crouching Nikon DSLR/zoom snapper. He was invisible to his subjects and was a good 30 feet away from them. :wtf:

Well, neither did I ;)
However I was in a completely different part of town, between the Westergasfabriek and the Jordaan where my wife and I were picking up some art-deco pottery from a shop.
We certainly wouldn't have recognised each other allthough I think that if I saw a person with a Nex 7 and a CZ 24 I would probably have tried to start a chat how he liked it. :salute:

Well, the guy with the red shopping bag thought it was funny too :ROTFL:

First picture is remarkable - full of atmosphere and capturing the feel of that city so well.

Re: Fun with the NEX cameras....

Well finally got my NEX7 and have been "getting familiar" with this camera and all the menu selections, etc. Have the Sony Zeiss 24 1.8 lens (50 1.8 on backorder) and my Leica M lenses. Am attaching three images I took today using my 24 1.8 lens in or near Leadville, Colorado. I'm really enjoying this camera...it's fun to carry around!

Nice! My Dad might have had a hand in that 59 up there. . .

And agreed on the 50/2. I hope to be able to take a picture that good with mine some time.

re: Fun With Sony _____

Kids soccer, Coral Gables, FL. My son is the one in the green.

Sony a900, Zeiss/Sony 135/1.8

Photos were hardly color corrected but they were sharpened a bit, then cropped into a square format.
