Spring emergents. This plant explodes out of the ground and starts flowering soon after every year during the last two weeks of May. We did not plant it and I don't know what it is. Nice leaf texture and strange looking blossoms. First is with the Contax 24-85 and second with the Contax 100 Makro, both on the Sony A7II with Fringer CN-SE AF adapter.

    Re: Fun With Sony Cameras

All around Antwerp there are pre WW1 forts to protect the city from invaders. Inbetween the forts lay smaller entrenchments and one is very close to where I live. The Germans attacked it in 1914 and when the Belgian forces could't hold it they blew it up. But the ruins are still there and even partly accessible.

Two "light artists" were invited by the city to organise a light spectacle in/around the ruins one weekend and I went to take a look.

I've visited the entrenchment many times, but going there at night for something like this was quite special.

    Here's some impressions:

1: Main hall with a light sculpture

2: Same sculpture, as seen from the room behind

3: Back wall, lighted by the sculpture

4: Light projections on the outside

    5: Fire in the hole

    6: Light demo and a videographer 1
