Dramatic weather and light here, flooding imminent in much of the area...

Re: Fun with the A7/7R

Ok, I hate this forum: I had earlier decided against getting caught in A7/R hysteria. But with all the nice pictures here and comments from Guy, Marc, K-H and others, I finally ordered the A7 from B&H. UPS delivered late last night.

One grab shot from today, in windy conditions and my hands are not that steady.

A7 + Leica Elmarit-M 90MM @ F4.

Re: Fun with the A7/7R

I had a fun outing with the fabulous Matt Driscoll earlier this afternoon. The sun sets in Seattle around 4:30 at this time of year, so Golden Hour comes early. We headed to Pike's Place market, each of us sporting our A7's...I brought only M lenses (35 lux asph, 50 Noct f/0.95, 90 APO cron). Matt shot his 55 FE lens, and I am certain he will be posting soon. Here are some quick edits....

Ash: Nicely done! Do you have a "release" for those last photos? :D

Shots from today's meander through the Pike Place Market with Ashwin. A7 with Sony Zeiss 55mm F/1.8.

Cheers, Matt

Ashwin & Matt,

Good stuff! And I'm not referring to the shots you took of each other. :ROTFL:

Re: Fun with the A7/7R

Thanks Joe! The first one in that set of mine was a "selfie". :D

Here's a few more with the A7 and Sony Zeiss 55mm f/1.8.

Cheers, Matt
