Re: Fun with the Sony A7 and A7r series

Neighbor's Tulip Tree. Operator error on that ISO, but, I like the 'grain', anyway.

A7, Sony Zeiss 24-70mm f/4, 70mm, 1/3200 @ f/4, ISO 1600

Another slide capture with the A7 from yesterday ...

Mom, photographer, likely about 1980.
Ektachrome 64 slide made with Minolta XD-11.

She actually used the Nikon EM I bought her in '78-79 for a time. I think my brother still has it.

Michiel, the second and last one are my favorites. The little nervous bokeh of the Rubinar fits there very well...

Re: Fun with the Sony A7 and A7r series

My grandson at my son's wedding, with my new Zeiss 85mm f1.4 ZE (on a Metabones Smart Adapter III.)

I love this lens.

Shot at f1.4/ISO 4000 in a rather dark corner of the room (as evidenced by his wide open pupils.)

Re: Fun with the Sony A7 and A7r series

I picked up a few Zeiss C/Y lenses. This is the Planar 50mm f/1.4. Mark V. at Glazer's Camera took the second photo.

A7r, Zeiss Planar 1.4/50mm, 1/40s, ISO 100

Not sure which is better looking, the guy in the second photo or the Contax 50mm F1.4
