I also have the Tamron 28-75 RXD now and in the little bit of testing I have done I am extremely impressed w it.

Yes, I had noticed the Tamron's arrival (+ also the absence of the GM 24-70mm), glad you like it, it should pair nicely with your 20mm Firin.

Been made whole again.
Was getting withdrawal symptoms though.
Get start to all over w a new camera and set of lenses.
They say everything works out for the best.

It's good if you take care of the corners. 17mm is perfect actually and that's what I was after. I'm using the Fotodiox Pro Fusion EF - E mount which I assume is as good as adapters get (?)

Until this new project the largest sea lock was in Antwerp, it's still the largest sea-lock in operation until the one above is finished. A few month before they opened it there was an open day for the general public to take a look around inside. Rather impressive!
