A few days ago I went to the left bank of the river Schelde, first with a view on the old city of Antwerp, later a bit further downstream with a view on the petrochemical industry in the harbour.

1: Looking towards the city, with the cathedral and boerentoren

A7 + APO-Lanthar 65/2

2: Close-up of the cathedral

A7 + FE70-300G

3: Total Olefins Antwerp

A7 + APO-Lanthar 65/2

4: Closeup of the steamcracking furnaces

A7 + FE70-300G

5: Esso refinery

A7 + APO-Lanthar 65/2

TFL, and comments welcome

I love number 3 , 4 and 5 , as I love industrial architecture .
I have to travel many miles to find interesting and exiting industrial bildings .
Good on the other side , as here in the country site the air is clean .
But can you please explain TFL ? ? ?

We call this place the "Color Bowl" for obvious reasons.
The 1st shot is of a feature known locally as "The Butterfly".

Anyone know what happened to Barry Haines ?
He used to post here regularly but I haven't seen him around in quite some time.

Great nudge –– I can hear his footsteps. This gives me the chance to pre-empt his appearance with a premature... 'Welcome Back'.
