Fun With Sony Cameras

I went out the other night to see the Neowise comet and capture a few images. Fog was rolling in, which eventually overwhelmed my first location (with the windmill), so I found another hill on my way home which was clear for a bit longer. I'd like to try another night to see if I can get some clearer weather.

Sony A7rII used with Batis 85mm (first and last image) and Tamron 17-28/2.8 (2nd image at 28mm):

More insect macro photos, this time from a stroll Friday afternoon around an area of untended scrubland ten minutes walk from home. Some I can identify, others have me baffled!

The water level seems to be dropping......
Thanks Pieter, the river is very low at the moment (had a dry spring). That will soon change come the winter or if we have a wet summer/autumn and this small island will be submerged and resculptured! At least it varies the scenery for me to shoot :D
