    Re: Dogs Unlimited Thread

This is Schnuffy Wiliiams ... we call her Schnuff for short.

She is a 4 year old Chi that goes with us everywhere ... LA, NYC, Miami, Las Vegas, resorts all over Michigan, etc., etc.

Schnuff has her own pets that she plays with ... Bambi and Kitty.

I took sexy photos of her for her internet dating site. She like walks on the beach at sunset, and candle lit dinners with Free Range Chicken.

Schnuffy has owned us for two years now since we rescued her.

New puppy my daughter got yesterday. I will have to take some nicer pics but interesting breed of dog. They are called Muggins. A hybrid dog, miniature pincher and a pug. Very small in size 8 weeks old. Will grow to about 10 lbs.

    HI Guy
Very cute - have you a way to stop the English Pointer having it for breakfast?

Drake looks like a freaking horse next to it. Funnier than heck. He has been very good except when a food dish is around , he lets her know it. They are both in my office sleeping right now, sounds like a good idea myself. LOL

Well, be careful - we thought it was just fine until Caspar pulled Blue's tail when he was asleep - I thought Blue had bitten a bit off judging by the terrible screeching the puppy let out - fortunately it amounted to a two minute limp and then back to normal chaos. The danger is that a simple pat on the back can do real damage.

    Hi There
I've decided to do a puppy picture diary - here's the web page for anyone who's interested:

What a darling pup. I love the second with Blue--off to see the diary. Nothng cuter than a puppy and this one is both photogenic (what a face) and is having adventures.

    Thanks for sharing these.

    Diane

Edit: Ah, had to comment on your saying that when Dixie died you decided to stick to one dog LOL. Having done that twice (we often used to have between 2 and 5)--when Ben died and left his younger sib, Kate, we stuck it out for 2 years and added Molly, the brown SP. Then--we lost Kate at 13+ last May and are saying the same. I wonder how long THAT will last LOL.

Ah, look at Emma's face in #19 *smile*.

    Yes . . . and look at the puppy's . . . who is the sucker!
    Hi Diane
I don't know if you read the blurb about them - I hope we haven't bitten off more then we can chew, they really need training (which we can do) but lots of socialising, and LOTS of exercise.

We're really lucky (touch wood) that Blue is behaving like the perfect uncle. . . he was attacked by two dogs in quick succession a couple of years ago, and had rather resorted to the nuclear option if anyone showed any aggression towards him (two wild cats lasted a very short time when they had a go at him). Fortunately he doesn't seem to think that a mad puppy growling and barking and sinking his teeth into his eyebrow counts as aggression!
    Long may it last!
You have more will power than us . . . the trouble is that we egg each other on - I think we've had 5 at one point, but 2 is quite enough!

    all the best

Here's a picture of Molly when she was 3 1/2 month old.
She's now 2 years old and I guess time for me to make new pictures of her.

    Lovely Steve
We just picked up Caspar from where he was staying whilst we went off skiing.

He's 14 weeks now, and has grown lots - here are a couple from this morning:

Both taken with the A900 and the 70-300 zoom.

Thanks, Jono! Caspar is a beauty!

None of those two is mine; the small one is a JackRussell-Papillon mix, just 7 months, but very forward. The big one is a huge Bernese mountain dog, just over a year.

Mine is Fredde, an English Cocker; here he´s making friends with an 11 weeks toy schnauzer.... Going out with Fredde each morning and meeting lots of dogs is a pleasure - and a great opportunity to practise with my new M9!

    Jasmine and her boat shoes.

    I know what you're thinking: ???

A lot of places we fish are very shallow and have a lot of oysters on the bottom. The shoes are to keep her from getting her paws all cut up if she jumps in the water.

M5-Guy, Faith is beautiful and more special since she is a service dog.

Claire, I thought maybe Jasmine's shoes made it easier for her to have good footing on the boat. I'm just amazed that she doesn't chew them off. Did she pick the two colors?

Funny; the 75 has become my fav dog lens since I got it (these are from before that, so they´re 90 shots). All M9.

Claire - lovely picture of Jasmine - funny I saw another boating dog with those shoes just the other day.
    Faith looks splendid
Per - love the first shot particularly (but it is a little dark on my screen).

Those are great photographs . Would enjoy hearing how you think the 58MM Noct holds up against the leica . Pairing a 58mm f1.2 with a D3S seems like an ideal night shooting kit.
