    Would you buy my book?

I started a Kickstarter project for my first book I hope to publish, I'd love to know your thoughts on it? It's going slowly at the moment so I plan to get some PR done for it.

    Thanks

No, because, I do not want to support kickstarter. They seem to be worse than some of the "not for profit" organizations in terms of the cut they get.

5% isn't much, I'm sure not for profit organisations take a way bigger cut, how many companies profit is 95% of their takings? None probably.

5% is a great deal. You get exposure and folks can find you. You keep 95% of your revenue and Kickstarter gets a small percentage so they can continue to support people like yourself.

5% is not much at all. I stand corrected. Thanks for the clarification.

Perhaps I was misinformed or confusing with a report on the US kicstarter.
